There is EXTREMELY limited parking available within walking distance of the Shores. We STRONGLY encourage you to park away from downtown and ride the Starlight ‘Dillo FREE to the Urban Music Festival. If your main objective this weekend is to take in the track and field events at UT and then come down to UMF after that - there are numerous parking garages and options for parking around the UT Campus. There are 1,000 FREE garage parking spaces available at One Texas Center, located at 505 Barton Springs Drive, 78704.
There are 400 FREE garage parking spaces available at City Hall, located at
301 W. Second Street, 78701. Enter the parking garage on the east side of City Hall on Lavaca Street.
There are 1,200 PAID garage parking spaces available
at Palmer Events
Center, which is located directly across the street
from Auditorium
Shores.
An all-day parking permit is $8. The entrance
on Riverside will be
closed
because of UMF. You must enter the garage from
Barton Springs Rd.

We have saved the BEST parking on the Shores for
motorcycles! We have space for 150 motorcycles
to park on the curb directly in front of Auditorium
Shores for $10 for all-day parking. The parking
spaces are available on first-come first-serve
basis only. Riverside drive in front of Auditorium
Shores will be closed off and only the Capital
Metro shuttles and the first 150 motorcycles will
be allowed onto Riverside to park at the curb
in front of the Shores.

You can park once for the Relays and then catch
the FREE Capital Metro shuttle down to Auditorium
Shores after the Relays. The nearest Capital Metro
pickup location will be 2 blocks south of the
Erwin Center at the corner of 14th and Trinity.

If your main destination is
all of the parties on Sixth St - then your best
bet is to park downtown and then catch the Capital
Metro shuttle at 6th and San Jacinto for the ride

during the day. Keep in mind that parking becomes
