Central Park Marketplace

The Central Park Marketplace — like the "other" Central Park—will serve as the heartbeat of the UMF experience. Central Park Marketplace is a unique experience that will feature an eclectic oasis of good food, clothing, jewelry, and crafts.

If you would like to join us in the Central Park Marketplace – read on!

Example food vendors we want include:

• BBQ
• Fried Catfish
• Chicken-on-a-Stick
• Kettle Korn
• Mexican Food/Fajitas
• Turkey Legs
• Fried Chicken Wings
• Steak, Pita and Brisket sandwiches

In the retail arena, we will need vendors who sell goods such as:

• Leather goods
• African & African-American Art (original and limited editions)
• Men, women and children clothing
• Hats
• Jewelry
• African masks, carvings, walking sticks
• Candles, incense, oils
• Photography booth
• Caricature sketches

We are now accepting vendor applications through FRIDAY, MARCH 24TH AT 5PM. As we only have room for approximately 50 vendors, we expect to receive more applications than we have space for. So please submit your application as soon as possible.
